“Some College, No Degree, But Back in School”
Community colleges are the most common destination for adults who years ago left college without earning a credential but now are coming back, according to a new report from the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center. AACC and the Association of Community College Trustees on Monday sent to House Education and Labor Committee leaders a letter regarding the proposed College Affordability Act. Answer the Call for Proposals
The opens in a new windowCall for Proposals for the 100th AACC Annual Convention closes November 15, 5:00 p.m. (ET). The 2020 convention agenda will include traditional and interactive sessions. More than 250 sessions will be organized into four mini-conventions. Faculty, mid-managers, senior administrators, and CEOs will all have their own space to engage with and learn from their peers. Proposals may only be submitted by AACC members.

AACC has a new opportunity for faculty. We have created the opens in a new windowFaculty Ambassadors program to ensure that our faculty-specific communications reach those individuals responsible for teaching and learning. AACC seeks one Faculty Ambassador from each member college to serve as a conduit with all faculty members at their institution. Each selected Faculty Ambassador will receive a complimentary base registration to our 2020 AACC Annual Convention. Please share this opportunity with your amazing faculty.
