AACC’s Leadership Award, an annual tradition since 1982, is presented to individuals whose accomplishments and professional contributions to the community college field have been outstanding. In 2023, Dr. Walter G. Bumphus announced the AACC Community College Leadership Hall of Fame inducting 11 new members. Additionally, previous leadership award winners were inducted as members of the Hall of Fame.
