“Busy” doesn’t even begin to describe last week. AACC and AASA, the School Superintendents Association, partnered on our seventh meeting on college readiness. On Monday, November 13, I participated in the first meeting of the President’s Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion, led by Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta. AACC also held its annual Fall Meeting, during which our board of directors and commissions gathered, as well as the first meeting of Pathways 2.0 participants. Despite the hectic schedule, it was exhilarating to be surrounded by so many people dedicated to advancing the success of our colleges and the students they serve. During this time of giving thanks, I must say I am grateful to all of you for the work you do.
On behalf of the AACC Board of Directors, the staff, and myself, we wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
