There is much uncertainty right now about funding for higher education at the state and federal levels, but there’s little doubt that legislators on both sides of aisle understand the power of Pell. Recently, the opens in a new windowPell Grant Preservation and Expansion Act was introduced in Congress. It would ensure fiscal stability for the Pell Grant program and increase the maximum award.
