January 7, 2022 | Issue # 203
This is the last CEO to CEO Newsletter of 2021. I wish you all a joyous and healthy holiday.
Before you turn on your out-of-office assistant, though, make sure you submit a session proposal for AACC Annual. The only way we can advance is if we learn from each other. That’s what AACC Annual is all about: exchanging ideas with our colleagues. I know you’ve developed innovative practices during the pandemic to better support students. Answer the Call for Proposals for your opportunity to share it with others. Learn more in the “Must Do” section.
“Equity Audits: Improving Outcomes for Community Colleges”
Some community colleges are using equity audits to examine their campus climate, culture, data trends, policies, and procedures. Read about their experiences developing equity audits in this CC Daily article.

Don’t Forget to Submit Sessions Proposals
Before you take off for the holiday, make sure to submit a session proposal for AACC Annual. The deadline is December 31 at 5:00 p.m. (ET). We want to hear about – and learn from – your innovative programs. Learn about the tracks for AACC Annual here, and submit session proposals here.
From faculty to CEOs to board members, AACC wants to recognize outstanding leaders. Submit award nominations for the Leaders of the Year, the Dale P. Parnell Distinguished Faculty Recognition, and the Awards of Excellence by December 31 at 5:00 p.m. (ET). For the Awards of Excellence, you can submit nominations in the following categories: Advancing Diversity, Faculty Innovation, Outstanding College/Corporate Partnership, and Student Success.
