AACC’s Office of Government Relations (OGR) advocates for federal tax and finance policies that best serve our nation’s community colleges and the students they serve. These policies include making Pell Grant awards entirely non-taxable and reforming the American Opportunity Tax Credit (AOTC) to maximize eligibility for community college students from low-income backgrounds.
