Workforce Development

AACC’s Office of Government Relations (OGR) advocates for strong federal support for job training and workforce development programs at our nation’s community colleges. This work includes advocacy around expanding Pell Grant eligibility to short-term workforce programs and bolstering the role of community colleges in the federal workforce development system through reauthorization of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
