October 7, 2022 | Issue # 221
This week, AACC is hosting the John E. Roueche Future Leaders Institute and Future Presidents Institute. I have never been more optimistic than I have been this week with the quality and caliber of our pipeline of future leaders.
I was pleased to offer my insights to the participants, but even as a “seasoned” leader I know that leadership development is a journey that never ends. As community colleges continue to evolve and our students have new expectations, we, too, must continuously re-assess and adjust to ensure we’re doing the best for our colleges, students, and staff. And when you see the results of this work, it will make that never-ending leadership journey much more rewarding.
