The AACC government relations team will review the 2026 midterm elections outcomes and discuss their implications for community colleges. What would a change in political control of one or both chambers of Congress mean for our institutions? Who might some of the key leaders be in the next Congress? How does the election result impact the overall political dynamic, and what does that mean for passing important legislation in the 120th Congress? We’ll discuss all these questions and review the latest outlook for Congress’s post-election “lame duck” session.
