I was in Seattle this week for the ACCT Leadership Congress. It was great to get time to talk with community college trustees and presidents. I’d like to extend my thanks to ACCT, our sister organization, and President & CEO Jee Hang Lee for including AACC Board Chair Dr. Sunny Cooke and I in this event.
I am proud to be a member of the College Cost Transparency Initiative task force. This initiative advocates for aid offers and financial aid communications that genuinely serve the needs of families rather than confusing or misleading them. Your college can join this work by committing to providing clear, accurate, and actionable financial information to every student and family. You can submit your commitment today to be part of a transparent future in higher education.
