Today, AACC has opened the opens in a new windowCall for Abstracts for the opens in a new window2024 AACC Annual, which will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, April 5-9. The theme of the conference is “Racing Toward a Better Future.” Have you thought about presenting at AACC Annual? Now is the time to submit your session proposal. The Call for Abstracts closes October 31 at 5:00 p.m. (ET). AACC Annual registration will open next week.

Highlights
The National Economic Council and Domestic Policy Council met Monday, August 28, and discussed opportunities to strengthen partnerships between labor unions and community colleges to help more workers train for and access good jobs in advanced manufacturing. AACC Senior Vice President for Academic & Workforce Development Jen Worth was in attendance, as were administrators from several AACC member institutions
On Wednesday, September 6, I participated in the Homeland Security Academic Partnership Council (HSAPC) inaugural meeting where I serve as Vice-Chair.
