AACC is teaming with Accenture LLP to test their Skills to Succeed Academy (S2S), a free online tool that uses short, interactive videos to prepare job seekers for career choices, job finding, and workplace success. We are seeking three AACC member community colleges to test the S2S model and with the findings, promote the effectiveness of the S2S Academy to the wider AACC membership through multiple methods and channels. Each college will receive $13,200 for work over nine months (December 2018 – August 2019) to provide testing and college feedback on the Accenture Skills to Succeed Academy.
Applicant colleges must be AACC member institutions in the following states: Southeast (AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, KY, LA, MD, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV); Southwest (AZ, NM, OK, TX); West (CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY). In addition, applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria: urban and part of a larger community college system; urban and independent (not part of a system); rural. Each college must agree to include enough students to reach an overall aggregated total of at least 1,000 students (per college over 3 years) who complete at least one module. The colleges must agree to continue sharing reporting information with Accenture for a period of 2 additional years. AACC and Accenture demonstrated highlights of the Skills to Succeed platform for interested colleges considering applying for the Accenture Workforce and Economic Development Initiative. Three demonstration webinars were held:
- October 19 – 3:00-4:00 p.m.
- October 22 – 12-1:00 p.m.
- October 25 – 4:00-5:00 p.m.
