Dorey Diab

POSITION: President of North Central State College since 2013.

PREVIOUS: Vice president of academic affairs at Rhodes State College, and provost at Stark State College in Ohio.

AFFILATIONS: The Workforce Development Commission of the American Association of Community Colleges; the Presidents’ Advisory Committee for the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT); the U.S. Chair Academy’s International Board; the Ohio Association of Community College Presidents Council and its Executive Committee; the Franklin University Community College Partnership (CCP) Council of Presidents; the Board of Directors for Crawford County, Ohio; the Richland County Community Development Group and Chamber of Commerce, Ohio; and the North Central State College Foundation Board.

EDUCATION: Received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Engineering from Cleveland State University, an Executive MBA from Kent State University, and a Ph.D. in Leadership in Higher Education from the University of Nebraska.

OTHER: Awards and Recognitions: Received a U.S. State Department Fulbright International Exchange Award, and the Association of Community College Trustees Central Region Chief Executive Officer Award. In January 2017, received an Honorary Doctorate degree in Community Leadership from Franklin University in Columbus.
