This has been a hectic week for AACC as we prepare to move into our new offices. Packing up for the move has led us to uncover some great treasures from the past. But while it’s been fun to reminisce and look through old publications, I’m looking forward to a fresh start in our new space, just as I’m sure you’re all looking forward to a fresh start as the fall semester approaches. It’s a chance to begin again with an optimistic outlook. Let’s not let that optimism fade!

The next opens in a new windowAACC John E. Roueche Future Leaders Institute (Roueche-FLI) and opens in a new windowFuture Presidents Institute (FPI) will take place September 9–12 in Washington, DC. Roueche-FLI is designed for department chairs, deans, assistant/associate deans, or directors who look to advance into a senior leadership role. FPI provides hands-on experience for senior leaders aspiring to the community college presidency. Registration for both closes August 20.
