Harper College’s Social Justice Studies Distinction gives students tools they can use to make a difference. Many students wish to align their education and career paths with the needs of their communities. Harper offers specialized course sections which are built around a social justice theme, allowing students to answer the call of service and civic engagement. The majority of the Social Justice Studies courses fulfill general education requirements, allowing students to prioritize transfer goals and degree completion while remaining immersed in the work of imagining, analyzing, and achieving justice.
