Bob, an Advanced Manufacturing apprentice has completed his college coursework and earned his program credentials. He is currently working toward the completion of his on-the-job training (OJT) to finish the apprenticeship and earn his DOL certificate. In his last 500 hours of OJT, this young man a 2019 high school graduate, has already been offered his very own office space. His employer is so pleased with his work, that he is now overseeing logistics for several of the facility’s largest accounts. His employer is happy to sing the praises of apprenticeships and the value they bring to the company.
