AACC is working with the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office to advise and inform strategies and promising practices between non-credit and credit bearing programming and a more seamless alignment between them that will accelerate workforce and economic development in economically distressed California communities. The work supports the Chancellor’s Office and selected colleges in a readiness assessment and the effective pre-work to qualify for economic and workforce development grants. The technical assistance includes a white paper, direct technical assistance provided to seven community colleges, and a toolkit framework.
