Please note that both ATE Conference hotel blocks are now full. If you are still in need of hotel reservations, you can try searching www.hotels.com for area availability. (You can enter “Woodley Park, Washington, DC” into the search field to pull up available hotels closest to the Omni Shoreham).
If the cost of your hotel room for two nights is to be covered by the conference as part of your comp registration, AACC will reimburse you for your room expenses up to the conference rate of $261 per night for two nights. Please see the conference registration desk to pick-up a hotel expense reimbursement form.

Conference Location
The 2018 ATE Conference will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert Street, NW, Washington, DC (phone 1-800-THE-OMNI or 202-234-0700).
Hotel Room Reservations
AACC is holding a block of rooms at the conference site, the Omni Shoreham Hotel. To make reservations, please do so by the deadline of Wednesday, September 26. If reservations are not made by September 26 (the cut-off date for guaranteed room reservations and group conference rate of $261 per night), you will be responsible for any difference in room costs above the conference rate.
Omni Shoreham Hotel — (Sold out)
The Omni Shoreham is the conference host hotel located at 2500 Calvert Street, NW, Washington, DC. Please make your reservation at the Omni Shoreham by using the online link above or by calling the hotel directly at 1-800-545-8700. If calling the hotel, please indicate that you are a part of the “ATE Conference.” You will be required to provide a credit card number to guarantee your room and cover any incidentals incurred during your stay.
Overflow Property: The Embassy Row Hotel – (Sold out)
The Embassy Row Hotel is located at 2015 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. To make reservations, please call The Embassy Row Hotel directly at 202-265-1600 and reference the “AACC-ATE Conference” to obtain the group rate of $254. For your reference, the Embassy Row Hotel is located 1.2 miles from the Omni Shoreham Hotel and is accessible by the metro rail station. The Embassy Row Hotel is located one block from the Dupont Circle metro station, which is on the red line. To get to the Omni Shoreham Hotel, you can take the metro one stop in the direction of Shady Grove to the Woodley Park metro station.
Hotel Costs
AACC will cover lodging expenses for designated participants: two rooms for projects and two rooms for centers for the nights of October 24 and 25. Colleges or institutions with more than two ATE grants will receive lodging expenses for a total of five rooms for the nights of October 24 and 25. These rooms will be billed to the AACC master account following the September 26 cut-off date, but incidental expenses are the responsibility of the attendees. Please note that participants attending on grants that have recently expired or are in no-cost extensions are responsible for covering their own lodging costs.
Hotel Costs and Designated Participants
The participants that register as complimentary on a grant (two for projects and two for centers) will automatically have the cost of their hotel rooms for the nights of October 24 and October 25 charged to the AACC master account. If a project or center would like to assign their complimentary room nights to individuals that are not receiving the complimentary registrations as part of their grants, please email that request to ate@aacc.nche.edu by September 26 so AACC can properly code the hotel reservation list.
All participants are required to make their own hotel reservations; and complimentary rooms will be assigned to the master account following the September 26 cut-off date.
Additional Room Costs
The cost of additional rooms (reserved by September 26) is $261.00 (single/double) plus tax and will be billed to the individual. Meeting participants who would like to come early or stay late may do so any pay the cost of additional room nights at the rate of $261.00. The hotels will honor this room rate three days prior and three days after the conference dates subject to availability.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are to receive a complimentary hotel room for two nights, please double check that your room has been coded correctly upon hotel check-in. If your room has not been properly coded to the master account, please report it to the conference registration desk so we can correct the billing prior to your check-out.

All attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements. The closest airport to the conference is the Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA), which is accessible by the Washington Metrorail System. Other area airports include Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) or Washington Dulles International (IAD).

D.C.; follow past the Pentagon to the Memorial Bridge; while on the Bridge get into right lane and exit at Independence Ave.; follow Independence Ave. back under the Bridge along the Potomac River (this becomes Rock Creek Pkwy.); get into left lane; road splits after passing under Bridge, bear left; exit left at Calvert Street; turn left off ramp; hotel is located on the left.
