Roueche, a nationally recognized authority in community college education. Dr. Roueche has played an important role in shaping community college leadership over the last 40 years and has written 35 books and over 150 chapters and articles. He has spoken to more than 1,300 community colleges and universities since 1970 and has accumulated honors and awards that are too numerous to name.

The $500 award will be applied toward the Roueche-FLI registration fee. (Member registration rate is $1800; non-member registration rate is $2100.) To learn about the award, click here.

 Bring a Buddy Program

AACC offers the "Bring a Buddy" Program to incentivize emerging leaders that have registered and been accepted to participate in the Roueche-FLI or Future Presidents Instiute to bring a colleague or friend with them. Participants taking advantage of "Bring a Buddy" must both complete application packets for the program, which include submitting a letter from the CEO or a member of his/her senior leadership team supporting the application. You and your buddy must attend the same event. In June, you may bring a buddy to attend the Roueche-FLI even if you are participating in the FPI or vice versa. "Bring a Buddy" reduces tuition by $200, and cannot be combined with other offers (i.e., host college discounts, Roueche Award, etc.)
