POSITION: Appointed in 2008, president of Lansing Community College, a public community college with its main campus in Lansing, Michigan, and satellite campuses in Delta Township, East Lansing, Mason, and Livingston County.
PREVIOUS POSITIONS: Served as president of Morton College in Cicero, Illinois; Pierce College in Tacoma, Washington; and Triton College in River Grove, Illinois. Served as acting president of Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. Served on Executive Committee and as chair of Finance Committee, as well as chair of Student Services, of Illinois Counsel of Community College Presidents. Also served as an officer and vice president of development at Meijer, Inc.
