It’s commencement season—one of my favorite times of the year. When the pomp and circumstance fades, think about stepping away from your desk and away from your campus for a few days to regroup with your peers. The 2019 Presidents Academy Summer Institute provides an opportunity to focus on current challenges, emerging trends, and opportunities unique to the CEO role. If you’re a newer president, there also is an opportunity to develop a mentor-mentee relationship with a more seasoned CEO. Details about this year’s PASI are in the “Must Do” section.
This weekend marks the Mother’s Day holiday and I’d like to acknowledge the many contributions that mothers make to our lives. To all you mothers, thank you for all you do. Have a very happy Mother’s Day.
