This week, AACC was happy to once again partner with AASA, The School Superintendents Association, on a meeting about K-12/community college collaboration and the role we can play to ensure access and student success. We were delighted to hear from several excellent speakers, including our own John Dyer and Dr. Tony Carnevale, director of the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. We’ve been holding these convenings for about four years now because it’s so important to keep the conversation going. Hearing what’s working (and what isn’t) with our colleges and our K-12 partners is one of the best ways for us to improve college and career readiness. I look forward to more of these meetings in the future.

AACC is conducting a survey to obtain a better understanding of the compensation of community college presidents and their perspectives on key issues of today. On March 2, you received an email with a link to the survey and we ask that you please take the time to complete it. AACC will develop a report based on the information from the survey and make it available to all members. Thank you in advance for your participation.
