The U.S. Departments of Commerce, Defense, Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, U.S. Agency for International Development, National Nuclear Security Administration, and Peace Corps will co-host the fourth annual technical assistance and capacity building conference, "Creating a Presence – Giving a New Innovative Perspective," for Minority Serving Institutions (Alaskan Native Colleges and Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions, Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander serving Institutions, Hawaiian Native Colleges and Universities, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and Tribal Colleges and Universities) on September 20-23, 2010, in Dallas, Texas.
The goal and mission of the conference will be to inform the MSI community about partnerships, compliance/regulatory requirements, commercialization innovation (technology transfer), and funding opportunities with Federal agencies. This is a FREE conference and will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Dallas, TX.
