AACC's 2010 Washington Institute is an intensive seminar designed for community college officials and other advocates who want an insider's view of how Washington formulates higher education policy. This year's Institute will offer an analysis of the fall elections and prospects for the 112th Congress, a review of recent legislation including the historic budget reconciliation bill, and the future funding landscape for community colleges.

All sessions provide access to the highest level policymakers. Learn more about how you can influence legislative and regulatory decisions, gain targeted resources for your college, and improve your media relations. Discover how research can help your campus.

Community college presidents, trustees, government relations directors, and other senior campus officials are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this innovative professional development opportunity and insight into the mechanics of Washington higher education politics.
