AACC opens the 94th Annual Convention with keynote speaker Jim Collins, business consultant, lecturer, and author of the book Good to Great.

Immediately following the opening session join us at the Exhibit Hall Grand Opening Reception for music, food, and drinks! 

Hail and Farewell Luncheon

The Hail & Farewell Luncheon is the association's opportunity to wish a fond farewell to retiring CEOs as well as hail new and 25-year CEOs. 

Featured speaker:  Amy Walter, National Editor of The Cook Political Report.

Awards of Excellence Gala

Monday, April 7, 6:45 p.m.
Ticket required.

The Awards of Excellence Gala dinner honors outstanding professionals from the world of community colleges. Awards will be given in the following categories: Emerging Leadership, Student Success, Exemplary CEO/Board, Advancing Diversity, and Outstanding College/Corporate Partnership.

Ticket required.

Outstanding Alumni BrunchThe brunch honors this year's outstanding community college alumni.

Past recipients include George Lucas (movie director), Dick Vermeil (NFL coach), and Amy Tan (author).

Featured speaker: General Colin Powell USA (Ret.), Secretary of State (2001-2005)
