Go Green from SFO and OAK

AACC is pleased to recommend BART as the only sustainable transfer from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). We suggest that you Go Green by taking BART from SFO or OAK airport. BART from the airport is fast and costs much less then taxis and shuttles. The trip on BART only takes ½ hour and BART downtown stations are within ½ to 3 blocks of AACC conference hotels. Plus, taking BART keeps 20 pounds of CO2 out of the atmosphere and reduces our conferences carbon footprint. Take BART and Go Green!

Taxi

Taxis depart from the designated taxi zones located at the roadway center islands, on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level of all terminals. Uniformed taxi coordinators are stationed at the taxi zones from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. to assist passengers with questions or concerns.

Metered rates apply to all destinations. Destinations either 15 miles beyond the limits of the City and County of San Francisco or 15 miles beyond the boundaries of San Francisco International Airport (SFO) are charged at 150% of the metered rate. A $2.00 exit surcharge is included in all San Francisco taxicab meter fares for rides originating from San Francisco International Airport. By sharing a ride, up to 5 persons can ride for the price of 1 person. The average fare from SFO to the Hilton San Francisco Union Square hotel is $60.00.
