About AACC
The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) is the primary advocacy organization for the nation’s community colleges. The association represents almost 1,200 two-year, associate degree-granting institutions and more than 11 million students.
About the Convention
The AACC Annual Convention is the premiere conference for community colleges. It offers professional development opportunities as well as the opportunity to network, share, and learn from professionals in the fields of education, business, and industry. The AACC Academic Marketplace boasts over 200 exhibitors who are available to speak with attendees about a variety of services and products.
The convention offers 2 days of pre workshops and business meetings followed by 2 1/2 days of programming (forums, roundtables, focus and spotlight sessions). A Gala Dinner honors Outstanding Community College Alumni and the meeting culminates with Brunch and a major speaker. See the Preliminary Schedule for more details.
Convention attendees include community college administrators (chancellors, presidents, vice presidents, deans, and department chairs), trustees, faculty, business/industry representatives who work with community colleges, federal or state government representatives, and graduate students.
