What your colleagues are saying about the Spring 2002 AACC International Recruitment Fairs:

Making [American] community college systems known worldwide is a task that the AACC has now begun and the first effort was an overwhelming success.
 – Thomas Adams, Richland College

We learned that community colleges could have their own trip.  That is a valuable lesson.  We also learned that we have to work harder to get the message out about the advantages offered by American community colleges.
– Kelley Brayton, Maricopa Community Colleges

It was refreshing to meet with students and educational representatives in each city who were interested specifically in [American] community college education.
 – Kathie Kwilinski, South Seattle Community College

“We participated in the first AACC Recruitment Trip to Asia in Spring 2002 and received 6 international students beginning in the fall of 2002—one from Taiwan, three from South Korea, and two from Japan.  We also have had contact with more students from the trip and have issued I-20's for 4 more students for the upcoming spring (2003) semester.  We are very pleased for the boost in international student enrollments and that we have also made some contacts with educational advisors in the countries that we visited.  We will again be attending the fair in the spring of 2003.”
– Manuel A. González, Northampton Community College
