U.S.-China Consultation on People-to-People Exchanges (CPE)
The U.S.-China Consultation on People-to-People Exchanges (CPE) enhances and strengthens ties between the citizens of the United States and China in the areas of education, science and technology, sports, culture, and women’s issues. Under the auspices of the CPE, AACC and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) signed a Statement of Intent to strengthen the cooperation between our organizations to facilitate institutional partnerships, and faculty and student exchanges.

U.S.-China 100,000 Strong Initiative
AACC supports President Obama’s 100,000 Strong Initiative, a national effort designed to dramatically increase the number of students studying in China. We welcome the Administration’s commitment to "diversify the composition of American students studying in China,” and encourage our member colleges to meet the challenge of building a cadre of Americans knowledgeable about Chinese culture, history, and language.
