Study in America

AACC's website, Study in America, is the first stop for international students to learn about U.S. community colleges. There prospective international students will find an online version of AACC's printed publication, Profiles of U.S. Community Colleges: A Guide for International Students, which includes detailed profiles of the featured community colleges in the printed publication as well as other information for international students who are interested in studying in the United States.  The Study in America website allows international students to

  • Search for colleges by name of college, location, or academic programs.
  • Access the international student pages of featured college websites.
  • E-mail the college's primary contact persons for prospective international students.
  • Read informaiton translated into their native language.
  • Share information on social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, QQ, Orkut, Bebo, and more.
  • View information on their mobile devices (i.e., phones, BlackBerry devices, iPods, etc.).
  • View additional informaitoin not provided in the printed publication, including a complete list of all regionally accredited and SEVP-approved community colleges.

Another Online Resource

AACC is also currently partnering with the website provider and publisher, Study in the USA, on another website for international students, www.CommunityCollegeUSA.com , on which colleges can post their college profiles in a number of different languages.
