Information about the Senate Nursing Caucus:
- Established in 2010 by Sens. Merkley, Johanns, Mikulski, and Snowe in order to educate members of the Senate about challenges facing nursing.
- A forum to address issues such as the growing nursing shortage, burdensome tuition debt for nursing education, patient safety issues and ideas brought forth by the nursing community.
