Community College Caucus:
The purpose of the Community College Caucus is to raise awareness within the House of Representatives about the unique role of community colleges within the American educational system. The Caucus is a forum to identify and discuss current issues which affect community colleges.

The Washington Institute:
AACC's 2011 Washington Institute is an intensive seminar designed for community college officials and other advocates who want an insider's view of how Washington formulates higher education policy. All sessions provide access to the highest level policymakers and information about how to influence legislative and regulatory decisions, gain targeted resources for your college, and improve your media relations. Workforce Development Institute:
AACC convenes the 19th annual Workforce Development Institute (WDI) January 25-28, 2012, in Miami, Florida. Designed as a comprehensive program for community college-based workforce service providers, WDI is an annual three-day conference that aims to educate, invigorate, and motivate those who are new to workforce development as well as seasoned practitioners. WDI brings together all the partners, community college professionals, businesses, government leaders, and nonprofit organizations for networking opportunities.
