The Community College Consortium for Immigrant Education is pleased to announce the release of its new report, DREAMING BIG: What Community Colleges Can Do to Help Undocumented Immigrant Youth Achieve Their Potential. The report offers community colleges recommendations and promising practices in five critical areas: increasing college access, making college affordable, supporting college readiness and success, offering alternatives for adult learners, and improving college retention and completion. The report cites practices and experiences that can assist colleges as they respond to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which may encourage students to stay in school and further their education.
