Program Description

Brother for Brother (B4B) is a dynamic organization established specifically to assist a diverse male population with graduating from Lone Star College – North Harris.  Brother for Brother strives to develop its members so they can better identify resources for themselves and their community, apply lessons learned, and make responsible decisions to become effective leaders.
Brother for Brother’s core six program committees are designed to develop its members in the following area through actively participating in campus and community-service activities.  The committees are (a) Academic, (b) Spirituality, (c) Service Learning, (d) Personal Development, (e) Financial Affairs, and (f) Public Relations.  B4B members serve as chairs and co-chairs of the committees and are responsible for creating activities to develop B4B members and the campus student-body in their committee area.  Example activities are weekly study hall, off-campus mentoring, volunteering projects, speaker series, etc.  B4B is involved in various community service projects such as Salvation Army, Northwest Assistance Ministries, YMCA, as well as volunteering as needed for campus events.
