Program Success Story

Men Moving Forward is an extraordinary group of young men that specializes in fulfilling the needs of the African-American as well as Latino males at Prince George’s Community College. Whether discussions about current issues that affect us as men or bringing in motivational speakers to teach us about self image and help uplift our spirits or even hosting health seminars to discuss health issues that are affecting our community, Men Moving Forward has always been at the forefront of the college putting our dynamic talents on display. I started out as a member with little sense of direction. I was not involved on campus and rarely attended any campus hosted events, but through the guidance of Men Moving Forward, I have grown into the vice president of Men Moving Forward with more accomplishments on campus than I can mention. In such a short period of time I have grown academically, spiritually, and socially. This dynamic group is responsible for changing the lives of young males; I can attest to this through personal experience, and I am the living example.  Men Moving Forward is the epitome of a Prince George’s Community College student organization. Anthony Adewusi, vice president of Men Moving Forward.
