Program Description

Grayson County College is dedicated to facilitate a seamless transition from secondary to postsecondary training for our students who will make up the 21st century workforce. The iPLAN,which is an acronym for Institutional Programs that Lead, Advise, and Nurture to assist Individuals to Participate, Learn, Adjust, and Navigate in College is Grayson County College‚Äôs initiative to partner with local school districts in order to prepare students for the transition into training or studies after high school graduation. GCC staff visit the students in their  classrooms and provide hands-on assistance with the processes of career discovery, 6-year planning, applying to college, taking college placement tests, and making important choices about programs of study and schedules. By the time the seniors graduate from high school, they will be able to make informed choices about their futures and will be guaranteed acceptance to Grayson County College.
