ATE Central, in conjunction with AACC, is happy to announce the release of the 2011 ATE PI Conference mobile app!
The 2011 ATE PI Conference app is designed for iPhone/iPad, Android, and Blackberry mobile devices. A browser-based version is available as well that can be accessed via other devices, including standard computers. The purpose of the 2011 ATE PI Conference app is to help meeting attendees streamline access to conference information, allowing them to easily create a personal agenda for the meeting and keep track of the sessions and showcases they wish to attend. In addition, the app will help attendees make the most out of their time among ATE colleagues by organizing the valuable contacts they make at the conference conveniently on their mobile device.
We recommend that attendees download the app before the conference. Apple and Android users can find the app by searching their app store for "2011 ATE Conference," or here are download links for the different platforms:
Those who don’t have the supported devices but wish to access the information in the app may use this link: http://atecentral.net/PIApp-Web
Once the app in installed, you will need to connect your mobile device to your contact information already entered in the app. To do this:
1) Wait about 30 seconds for the app to update
2) Tap the Contacts button
3) Enter the email address you used to register for the conference in the space provided
4) Check your email for a five-digit confirmation code
5) Enter that code into the app
Now, you will be able to edit and push your contact information to other conference attendees!
And, here is a handy video tutorial for using the app in two formats:

flash - http://atecentral.net/PIApp-Tutorialflash
In addition, please note that on the final day of the conference (Friday, October 28th), there will be a breakfast roundtable in which attendees can give feedback about the app, how it was or was not useful, and provide suggestions for future improvements.
For up-to-date information on the 2011 PI Conference app and more about the meeting, follow @ATE Central and @Comm_College on Twitter and Facebook (#2011ATEPI) or visit http://atecentral.net/PIMeeting.
If you have any problems or need help downloading or installing the app, contact Andrea Coffin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
