Travel from the Days Inn to the Omni Shoreham Hotel:
Metrorail: The Days Inn is located two blocks from the Van Ness Metro station stop on the Metro's red line. The Van Ness station is two Metro stops up from the Woodley Park Metro Station, which is located one block from the Omni Shoreham Hotel. The fare between the two stops is $1.65 each way during rush hours periods and $1.35 each way non-rush. You must purchase a ticket (in any increment) before boarding the Metro.
To get from the Days Inn to the Omni Shoreham, board the Metro in the direction of Glenmont (or Silver Spring) and get off at Woodley Park. To go from the Omni Shoreham to Days Inn, board the Metro in the direction of Shady Grove (or Grosvenor) and get off at Van Ness – UDC.

Participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations by September 25 (phone 1-800-545-8700 or use the link for online reservations). If reservations are not made by September 25 (the cut-off date for guaranteed room reservations and special conference rate) you will be responsible for any difference in room costs above the conference rate. When you call the hotel, be sure to say that you are a part of the "ATE Conference." You will be required to provide a credit card to guarantee your room and cover any incidental fees accrued during your stay.
AACC will cover lodging expenses for designated participants: two rooms for projects, three rooms for centers, and six rooms per instutitution with more than two ATE grants for the nights of October 21 and 22. Conference participants with "Complimentary" registrations will have the cost of their hotel rooms for the nights of October 21 and 22 charged to the AACC master account. Incidental expenses are the responsibility of attendees. AACC will assign these rooms to be covered on the master account following the September 25 reservation cut-off date. The cost of additional rooms (reserved by September 25) is $219.00/single or double and will be billed to the individual.
Please note: If you are to receive a complimentary hotel room for two nights, please double check that your room has been coded correctly upon hotel check-in. If your room has not been properly coded to the master account, please report it to the conference registration desk so we can correct the billing prior to your check-out.
