 National Energy Technician Education Summit 

AACC worked in partnership with the National Science Foundation and the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center (ATEEC) to host a National Energy Technician Education Summit on December 8-10, 2010 in Washington, D.C.  The summit was convened to discuss how community colleges can meet the current and future needs for technicians in the energy sector.  Approximately 100 key individuals representing industry, education, government, and nonprofit organizations were invited to participate.  A report of the summit proceedings will be produced by ATEEC and available in early 2011.
