Job Description

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this full-time position. The ability to effectively supervise and motivate personnel is critical to experiencing success in this position. DUTIES:   Plan, organize, and direct the Student Services programs and activities  to include counseling, admissions, registration and records, career center, veterans’ and GoArmyEd services, financial aid, One Stop Center and College Connections. Provide direction and supervision to ensure accuracy and accountability for assigned functions to comply with Federal, State, College and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools policies, procedures and recommended guidelines. Develop, monitor, and coordinate the division budget, data systems, technology and procedures. Demonstrate a positive and proactive approach in identifying problems, creating innovative solutions, managing projects, leading teams and collaboration, and implementing efficiencies and effectiveness using technology. Recommend and supervise assigned staff; provide highly complex and responsible staff assistance and research, develop, prepare, and present recommendations and reports as requested by the Vice President for Academic and Student Services.  Perform related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum Requirements:  Master’s Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university; and three years of increasingly responsible administrative experience in an educational setting.  Applicants not meeting this minimum requirement will not be considered. Preferred:  Experience in student services.

 

SALARY:  Executive Pay Scale, plus an excellent benefit package.
