The Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Pamlico Community College.
The mission of Pamlico Community College is to provide accessible and affordable quality education, workforce training, and lifelong learning opportunities for the community served by the college. The Board seeks a president who recognizes the unique challenges and opportunities facing Pamlico Community College, and who will bring a creative and visionary leadership to the college and its mission. Pamlico County is located in beautiful coastal North Carolina on miles of shoreline along creeks, rivers, and the Pamlico Sound. Because of its abundance of open spaces, and proximity to cultural, recreational, and entertainment opportunities, Pamlico County offers superb quality of life.
- A minimum of an earned master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education or equivalent is required. An earned doctorate degree is preferred.
- Administrative experience at progressively higher levels of responsibility, preferably reporting at the CEO, presidential, or board level.
