SOCCCD is pleased to announce the following opening within its multi-college District: DEAN, FINE ARTS AND MEDIA TECHNOLOGY Saddleback College, Mission Viejo, CA Opening #4165/3584 • Open Until Filled Apply by: February 26, 2010 for Guaranteed Consideration https://jobs.socccd.edu The Dean, Fine Arts and Media Technology, is responsible for planning, organizing and supervising all aspects of the division, including developing, marketing, evaluating and managing education and instructional programs and services, which currently include Cinema-Television-Radio, Music, Theatre Arts, Art, Photography, Speech, Professional Guest Artist Series, and Art Gallery. Candidates must possess: -- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university. An earned Doctorate Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. -- Minimum three years of successful faculty experience at the postsecondary level, with an emphasis on one or more of the Fine Arts and Media Technology. -- Minimum of one year of successful postsecondary administrative/ supervisory experience, with a preferred emphasis in Fine Arts and Media Technology. -- Evidence of a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, physically-challenged, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
