Provides leadership for all academic programs (transfer and career) as well as non-credit courses and programs in support of the College's mission. Ensures quality instruction, student success, integrated planning and the assessment of student learning outcomes to meet educational needs of students in a diverse college environment. Responsible for the implementation of academic policies and procedures, accreditation, faculty, academic administration and division budgeting.
Earned doctorate from an accredited institution with five years of administrative and academic experience at dean's level or higher.
5 years teaching experience in higher education, preferably at a community college.
Proven experience in the understanding and implementation of process management principles and quality improvement in the academic arena.
Possess excellent employee relations, team building and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate and foster cooperative College and community working relationships.
Experience in or detailed knowledge of improving student learning outcomes through cross functional team innovation.
