Job Title: Executive Vice President of Instruction and Student Services

The Executive Vice President of Instruction and Student Services is responsible for all of the College’s instructional programs, student services and educational support resources for students, and academic employees. This key senior-level position provides leadership, direction and supervision for all academic divisions and student services programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution
• Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in instruction and/or student services
• Knowledge of or experience in collective bargaining processes
• Familiarity with student admissions, records, financial aid, student development, residence and student life
• Knowledge of teaching and learning theories, and proven skills in developing new instructional programs
• Experience with long-term planning and large-scale budgets
• Teaching and counseling experience
• An ability to work effectively with academic-transfer, professional-technical, developmental and continuing education programs in a multi-campus environment
• Experience with accreditation processes, including working knowledge of outcomes assessment
• Experience with developing, implementing, supervising and evaluating a broad range of student services within a student-centered environment
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state guidelines
• Experience leading a multi-faceted and diverse organization through major organizational change
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, technological, and communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities in promoting and advancing:
• excellence in teaching and learning
• an atmosphere of inclusiveness, collegiality, shared intellectual inquiry and collective accomplishment
• knowledge of current thinking in student development theory and practice
• professional development, innovation and leadership

Preferred Qualifications:
• Five years of experience with academic and/or student services
• Multi-lingual, multi-literate, multi-cultural
• Knowledge of or familiarity with Guided Pathways
• Doctoral degree preferred

This is a full time, Exempt position. Salary $130,000 – $145,000 per year plus benefits.
