Job Description

This position exists to provide guidance, direction, and support to the college in the areas of institutional research, strategic planning, academic planning, institutional effectiveness, assessment, grant management, accreditation, program review, enrollment management, and the college president’s MnSCU work plan. This position will assist in the development and implementation of policies. This position includes responsibility for maintaining a data-clearing house and evaluation center on campus which may be activated to answer institutional questions, including but not limited to program evaluation and sustainability, enrollment management, academic quality and student success, and strategic planning. This position includes the responsibility for researching and recommending grants appropriate to the mission and strategic goals of SCC; working collaboratively to prepare, write, and submit external grant proposals; coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on grant implementation. The position reports to the president and serves on the president’s cabinet and college leadership council. The Research Planning and Evaluation Director's home campus is located in North Mankato, MN with one day on site at the Faribault, MN campus as well as travel to the System Office located in St. Paul, MN periodically as needed.
