Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) in Monaca, PA, minutes northwest of Pittsburgh and one of Pennsylvania’s 14 community colleges, invites applications for three executive leadership positions. Founded in 1966 and preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary, CCBC’s annual enrollment exceeds 3,000 credit students and an additional 5,000 non-credit students. CCBC is an Achieving the Dream Leader College and is embarking on a vision to grow its offerings and community engagement through partnerships and new program development. CCBC offers 71 degree, certificate and diploma programs and hundreds of Continuing Education and Workforce Development programs as well as seamless transfer to a growing number of baccalaureate and graduate programs. Vice President of Human Resources Reporting to the President and serving on the College’s executive team, the Vice President is the College’s chief Human Resources officer and has responsibility for the development, implementation and coordination of all Human Resources programs and services including, but not limited to, employment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development and HRIS/Records. CCBC employs approximately 320 full- and part-time employees with anticipated future growth. The Vice President works closely with leaders of the College’s two collective bargaining units -- the Society of Faculty and the Educational Support Personnel Association in addition to members of the President’s Executive Council, Academic Council and others. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. At least 7 years of related Human Resources experience including senior level management, with higher education experience preferred. Dean, School of Nursing and Allied Health Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost, the Dean provides leadership for all nursing and allied health programs of study, supervises and supports all faculty and staff in the School, and oversees the planning, coordination and delivery of quality instructional programs, including: Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma in Practical Nursing (PN), AAS in Radiologic Technology, Pharmacy Technician Certificate, Multi-skilled Health Technician Certificate, Nurse Aide Certificate, and Phlebotomy Certificate. The School has a strong regional reputation and recently partnered with Heritage Valley Health System to increase its capacity for educating nurses and allied health professionals in the region. Master’s degree in Nursing and Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required (doctorate preferred) in addition to at least 4 years of experience in nursing practice, nursing education, and administration. Dean, School of Business, Arts, Sciences and Technology Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost, this new deanship, the result of merging two previous divisions into a new integrated School, is responsible for leading all School programs, faculty and staff and is comprised of over 50 programs in Business, Technology, Science, Mathematics, Communications, Criminal Justice, Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Fine Arts, General Education, and Developmental Education disciplines. The Dean leads and supports planning, coordination and delivery of quality instructional programs. Master’s degree or equivalent (doctorate preferred) in addition at least 4 years of related experience in one or more of the disciplines represented in the School, including 3 or more years of faculty or administrative experience at the community college or four-year/graduate college level.
