The Director of Financial Aid provides leadership for all aspects of financial aid, scholarships, and veterans educational benefits throughout the College. The Director of Financial Aid leads the delivery of college-wide financial aid services, communicates and coordinates information to constituencies, plans future initiatives, and provides leadership for all student financial assistance programs and functions. Employees in this class manage and account for financial aid awards made to students from any of the college’s federal, state, institutional or private sources. The Director of Financial Aid is the college’s senior financial aid administrator and is accountable for financial aid program compliance with all relevant institutional, state and federal regulations.

At a minimum the selected candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution supplemented by a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience. Additionally the preferred candidate will have an earned Masters degree in Student Personnel or related area from a regionally accredited institution. Experience with scholarships and veteran educational benefits. Knowledge and support of the role in the student recruitment and retention processes, as well as active participations in these areas. Community College experience and the ability to communicate in written and spoken form with staff and students from a wide range of backgrounds.
