Positions Supervised: Direct - Talent Development Consultants, Technology Training Consultant, Faculty Development Consultants, Administrative Assistant.

 

 

 

LOCATION:  Green Bay campus

STANDARD HOURS:  Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility to work other hours as necessary.

POSITION SUMMARY

Design, implement, and manage organizational development initiatives that establish and reinforce a high performance culture. Provide leadership to initiatives and activities in leadership and faculty development, talent management, operational productivity, employee engagement, and training. Utilize internal and external resources to serve as a strategic business partner to develop the capabilities and capacities of employees. Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to affect organization change consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the College.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision and direction for organizational and talent development which utilizes innovation and creativity for improvement and growth while aligning with strategic initiatives of the College and student success.
  • Identify, monitor and drive employee engagement to ensure attainment of the College intended culture and goals.
  • Design, direct, and lead the College-wide process of organizational design and development.
  • Design and implement strategies, tools, and trainings that promote and support a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and productivity principles.
  • Provide overall leadership in identifying training and development needs for the College; consult internally with leaders and other employees and recommend options for the improvement of existing training programs as well as the development of new programs.
  • Oversee leadership development initiatives including the assessment, identification of development opportunities, and coaching of current and emerging leaders.
  • Oversee the Center for Instructional Excellence offerings to ensure quality and relevance of faculty programming.
  • Foster an environment which values the diversity of ideas and people; attract and retain a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Provide leadership to the design, development, and implementation of department policies, procedures, and initiatives (professional development, in-service programs, etc.) that support student success. Create an environment of open, honest dialogue.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, and resource allocation efforts that maximize operational productivity.
  • Cultivate an organizational/team climate, which engages staff to accomplish the goals and objectives of the team action plan as it relates to the division and the College.
  • Manage the human resource needs of the department including the selection, retention, performance management, and development of employees.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Master's Degree
Experience: Seven years related experience. 

 **An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
