Columbia State Community College has an opportunity for a Director of Nursing Education/Division Chair. This position provides leadership and supervision for the Nursing Education Division and serves as Program Director for the Nursing Program. Columbia State is located 45 miles south of Nashville and is Tennessee’s first community college. Our Nursing Program was established in 1967 and consistently graduates more RNs than any other program in Tennessee.
REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications include a Masters degree in nursing and a doctorate in nursing or closely-related field, four years work experience with a minimum three years experience in a full-time teaching and/or administrative position in an approved school of professional nursing. Applicants must possess or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Tennessee. Doctorate and college teaching experience are preferred.
