The Board of Trustees and the Presidential Search Committee invite nominations and applications for the position of President of Community College of Philadelphia. The search will begin on November 11, 2013 and continue until an appointment is made, with the new president expected to take office on July 1, 2014. It is an open admission, public, associate degree-granting institution. Its more than 70 degree and certificate programs in Business, Humanities, Health, Liberal Arts, Science, Technology, and the Social and Behavioral Sciences are taught by a well-qualified faculty and provide a foundation for transfer, employment and lifelong learning. Annual enrollments are approximately 29,000 credit and 6,000 noncredit students. More than 685,000 students have attended Community College of Philadelphia since its inception in 1965. The attractive Main Campus is located in a bustling neighborhood adjacent to Center City and Philadelphia’s vibrant business and museum district.
